  1. Thanks again for the info gents, were all over it.
  2. There doesnt seem to be any way to actually pick up an edge or point location in the verify. Do I not have something on that I should? Thanks Again
  3. Is anyone using right angle mill heads on their VMC's? I know someone is; we are looking to purchase one but would like some feedback as to whats what on them. We have some info on Ekstrom,Carlson heads, but are told they are made to order, and probably would not get a chance to play with one before we purchased it. Also, they dont have salesmen out and about to bring one in and even look at it. Could anyone pass on some hard luck experience on this subject?
  4. Thanks for the help guys, I've been trying to find that setting for two days.
  5. Yes, on the autocursor, the box is so small I can barely see what I'm selecting. I know with AutoCad, I could change the size of the box, but I dont know how to in Mas.X.
  6. We have been crying for two days and feel about like monkeys humping a football, but finally I think were starting to get more familiar with it. Hang in there and keep working with it it gets easier. I think...
  7. Is there any way to click on hard points in the verify measure points?
  8. Any Ideas how to make the cursor box (mouse box) larger. I can barely see how to select any thing. Ver.X
  9. I was able to force a send by cancelling out(hitting ok.)and send again from the editor. I set the timeout to 5 and changed my Com port to 1 instead of 2. Still have to force it to send, but I can live with this instead of saving everything to disc and loading to machine.
  10. Look down the screen at "Anyone know how to access the Post". We talked to CNC Software on this earlier today.
  11. Hey Greg, Did you figure anything out yet? Have not heard from you yet today.
  12. Yes, the post was updated. No, I dont know how to set the numbers sequential. Yes, I selected the Machine Def. before I started programming. No, This is a new job. I would like to be able to access the post parameters, but I dont know how to get there from here.
  13. Using X, Trying to get it set up right. We think were using the same post. It does not want to output the same. I followed the directions in the install guide that came with X to update the original post so that it should be ok. Im using a Haas post. All the files post wrong. Thanks for any help.
  14. Program is not generating work offsets, and throws out a bunch of machine home positions at the beginning and end of every program, also H and T numbers dont match. We are using our old post from Ver.9.1, but the new editor isnt reading it the same. Any suggestions?
  15. Errors out says that port com is busy but nothing else is using it, Ver. 9 still shoots to the machine but 10 pukes out. WTF? Sure looks pretty, but still not functional for us.
