  1. Howdy, I was so excited to finally recieve our copy of X, so in my haste I load it in, HASP ready and waiting, to get a startup error that two .ocx files are not found. They are on the system, and in the registry editor they are being pointed to at the right location on the drive....any thoughts? Thanks!
  2. Hey, I don't quite understand what solids does exactly, and if that is something that we should be ordering with X. Opinions?
  3. Howdy, Anybody out there have Prodrill? My shop is looking at getting it, and I wanted to get some perspective if it's worth spending the cash on it or not... not that I am promoting myself to run our glofied drill dress (Haas VF6)... but if it makes it more efficient as they say...
  4. (1) Nakamura-Tome SC350 (I think...) (1) NEF 710 Gildemeister (the dinosaur of Lathes) (1) Haas VF6 with 4th Axis
  5. Howdy, I want to mill a thread. let's say 1" NC. I have a multipoint insert on a thread boring bar. How do I go about this? I have seen the thread milling section on the menu, but I don't find the proper tool in any listings.... Any help with finding the tool, and what to do from there would be great!
  6. Ok, picturing again the 'not' square piece, how can I chain the boundries? (Not square piece is 2.25" x 1.125" x 1" thick)...?
  7. Actually, Chris, it is, I just didn't include the other half, because it has a 2.25 radius on it (making it originally square)... =]
  8. Hey all, I am new to the forums, as well M/C. I was thinking ahead about a job that we need to do on a piece of square Alum. (2.25" x 1.125" x 1" thick). I want to put a .25 radius all the way around the top edge, but have no radius tool to do it. How can I mill this? I know, I know, maybe a dumb question, but hey...
