Trevor, I appreciate you're reply. but the problem is that the data I'm receiving is 2-D autocad drawings. With many different Z levels identified by a depth chart. Leo

The reasons I was asking is many of my customers send me blueprints and 2-d wire frame. I just do not know if it is worth the time to model it into a solid. Most of my projects have compressed deliveries. Leo NC Programmer
