We are in an educational environment and we are subnetting our network, we have one license server right now serving out licenses for Mastercam X. The license server is Windows 2003 SP1 and all the clients are Windows XP Pro Sp2. Is it possible for us to keep one license server for our whole network? We tested this and it does not work so far. Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. Our MasterCam (I think it is version 9) - c:Program FilesAladdinHASP LM, do you think this will still work.

We are trying to get NHSRVW32.EXE to run on our windows 2003 Standard server as a service, so we have better control of stopping and starting the license server. Has anyone ever did this? We just don't want to leave an user account log in all the time to run this executable.
