I have never machined it but, my alloy ref. list

I also thought of overlapping the last pass to cut the entire dia.
The groove is only .14 wide X .08 deep at 12.5 dia.
Cutting with a Top Notch .094 wide insert.
I would need the Thumbinator 250 or smaller to blend it.
-
Yea, I thought it was something like that.
The material is haynes 188, and we tend to get
steps even when overlappping the finish cuts.
-
Does anyone know how to add a dwell on the finish pass of a grooving cycle?
There is a dwell option in the rough menu, but I
don't see anything on the finish menu.
Thanking you in advance,
Calvin

Could Mastercam change the shape of the "1" in the stick font? I always get people asking if it a "7" and I don't want to use any of the "hollow"
fonts.

I am trying to format the feedrate for an older machine that accepts no decimals.
(OKUMA OSP3000)
Ex: F.007 would be F70
F.010 would be F100
In V9, the format statment was: fs 12 0 4t
and the output was: F70
In X, I have tried: fs2 18 0 4 0 4t
The output I get is: F0070
Can anyone help me get rid of the zeros to the left?

Thanks to gcode and Paul for responding to this post.
I believe the issue is resolved now.

Thanks Paul,
The changes to misc. int/real values which are stored in the post do not seem to be updating in the control definition when acessed through the machine type dropdown.

from the "machine type" dropdown

Here goes.. my first post to this group.
I am trying to edit the misc. int/real values screen and the edits don't seem to stay.
I am editing them from the"machine def. manager" then choosing "edit control def.".
When I save, exit and reenter, the edits have disappeared.
