Correct me if Im wrong.The more U and V the better.Long parts require more U and V travel than short parts for the same deg cut.We have 3 Mits with 3in U and V,but many times need a little more.
Im roughing a 3D shape in an already convex shape.How will MCX 4mu3 recognize the none planer shape to save from cutting air.I tried an stl and standard stock solid option.MCX did not recognize the two.Im missing something!!! thanks ahead
The suface was created in solidworks by my customer and I had it checked out by a MC dealer.I have many surfaces in the file .Seems the arc moves are not very acurate.The gouges are EGG shaped instead of being round.
mastercam seems to gouge alot.Ive scraped a surface job with the filter on and off.whats up with 9.1 . The tolerance is .0003 .I had to shift the guilty tool up in Z .012 to remove the 2 gouged areas on a dome shaped surface.Will some mold guy help me out?
