We are having troubles converting Creo files in to Masctercam X6 . When we open the files sometime it comes in as a solid and other times it wants to convert it to surfaces and only some of the surfaces are there.We have the converter from Mastercam. Our ProE guy says it's a Mastercam problem. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Thanks for your input.

I'm trying to post a file and the arc center points are not posting correct.the start and stop points of the arc are correct is there a setting in the post that maybe wrong .when i looked at the post it is set for arc centers to be abs .any help would be great thanks Greg mx5 mu1

Today it started to give an error message that it is a file from a newer Mastercam version or a file not recognized by Mastercan. The file i am trying to open was just created in mcx4 10 minutes ago.When i saved the file it took a long time to save. I have mcx4 loaded for over a week with no problems. Has anyone else had this happen to them. The guy on dayshift said he also had the same problem. thanks greg

Cherokee, Have you looked for the recommeneded chip load and SFM for the grade of inserts you have. I have cut many hardened parts this way and have had great luck with it. good luck Greg -

I am trying to post multiple tools in mr2 and only one tool is posted at at a time it prompts for a new program name for every tool.If i do multiple toolpaths with the same tool it will post all the toolpaths. It is only when multiple tools are used it will not post all the tools. Is there a setting that i missed to stop this problem or is something in the programing that is different in the new release.
