  1. The only other thing I can think of would be if you had a mouse driver / software that was not Windows or Windows standard. Mike
  2. Larry, Are you running an XP box? Are you running X MR2 or newer? Mike
  3. You may also want to go to System > Advanced > Visual Effects and make sure that you have "Adjust for best performance" selected. There could be some kind of conflict with the effects. Mike
  4. I am sorry Larry. I have not heard of anyone with that issue. You might want to have a look at the mouse properties in the control panel. Maybe something got changed there. Mike
  5. Havn't heard of that one? Select the "Choose color" button and then the "Defaults" button. Was this Cursor a problem before installing X+? Someone else may have a clue so hang in there. Mike
  6. Is the geometry there but just blanked out? Run Ramsaver and then look at the levels manager for # of Entities. Ramsaver may also make the geometry re-appear. Mike
  7. Larry, I think it is because you are trying to run the DLL. You must run it from a toolbar. Go to Settings > Customize > Toolbars > Category and then X+ At this point drag an Icon and now you have a new Toolbar. You can then add more Icons. Let me know Mike
  8. Welcome to the Forum Larry1958! I am not sure what you are looking for but this may be it: X+ Setup sheet Mike
  9. Sounds good, I am glad you found a work around. What is the toolpath that was giving the problem? Mike
  10. I am wondering if anyone has changed around some of the tolerances in the post?
  11. I see what you are saying ?? If you are not using X and you just want to get this job done in 9, I would try to fix it in 9. I don't really remember having those kind of issues in 9, could be I was lucky? or maybe is wasn't a xxxxor? What toolpath is it? What is your tool dia? maybe change it by .0001 Mike
  12. -Try posting it from an "out of the box" mpfan and compare the code. -Are you filtering it? You may need to change the filter technique or just turn it off. Mike
  13. Fuji, Google for "CiceroUIWndFrame". You may find some info that will help you. I found this: CiceroUIWndFrame is the programmer's name for one component of the"Speech and Handwriting Recognition" part of Office XP from Microsoft. Mike
  14. I haven't heard of that one yet. I imagine you have tried all of these but here are the only work arounds that I could think of. 1) Try different tolerances when exporting STL 2) Rotate it in a different cad package or older version of MC. 3) Don't rotate it. Just use the WCS to progam the parts with the stock view always being TOP ( system) Mike
  15. Marting, From the Whatsnew.htm: ---------------- Right-click on one of the options and it sets an Only mask that will be used for future General Selection. ------------- Is this what you are needing? Mike
  16. Hello Everyone, I am wondering if anyone knows how to enable Helical interpolation on a Mitsubishi M-H4A Horizontal Mill with a Meldas M3 control. I believe that on some machines it is a protected parameter and some it is not. This machine is property of a client / friend of mine and we are finding that it gets an alarm of "p72 No Helical Spec" when trying to run a G03 move that contains a "Z" value. Any help is greatly appreciated so Thanks! in advance. Mike
  17. I my have misunderstood but maybe you must change the WCS back to top before outputing the STL. ? Mike
  18. Maybe the part is good and the CMM is giving a bad number due to such a small arc segment. Can it be checked on a comparator? Mike
  19. Victor, I tested it with a post from MR0105. The modified date (Windows) on the post I have is 1-24-05. and the txt file is 2-4-03 TXT file entries: [lathe misc integers] 1. "Work Pos. [-1=REF,0=G50,1=HOME,2=G54s]" 2. "Abs/Inc. [0=ABS, 1=INC]" 3. "Ref. Return [0=G28,1=G30]" 4. "Misc. integer [4]" 5. "Misc. integer [5]" 6. "Misc. integer [6]" 7. "Misc. integer [7]" 8. "Misc. integer [8]" 9. "Misc. integer [9]" 10. "Misc. integer [10]" I do not know what post you have. ?? Maybe someone changed it or maybe it is very old and does not support this. Can you find one on your install CD ?? Mike
  20. Victor, There are several ways to get rid of the work offset. I am not sure what would be best for your situation as I don't really know exactly what it is. I believe the following is the most common though. Comments from the mplfan.pst found in V9.1 MR0105 : # mi1 - Work coordinate system: (home_type) # -1 = Reference return / Tool offset positioning. # 0 = G50 with the X and Z home positions. # 1 = X and Z home positions. # 2 = WCS of G54, G55.... based on Mastercam settings. I believe that you may just need to set mi1 to -1 or 1 depending on whether you are using TC positions or G28 home I am not sure about the Z issue as I would like to look at a file. Ooh! by the way, I am not a MC Lathe or Lathe post Guru. I am just trying to help, so if someone sees an error or has anything to add or change, please feel free help us out. Thanks, Mike
  21. Victor, Have a look at this question in the post if you have it: css_start_rpm : yes #Do direct RPM spindle start prior to CSS ? You may just have to enter a no. Mike
  22. Fire em! edit:/ I am sorry you have to deal with people like this but it is very common in machine shops. I have lost patience with idiots like this. I just do something drastic.....Fire em, Quit, I could think of other things... edit again:/ Sorry Saipem, you hit my weak spot. I just have had these same problems so many times. What you are supposed to do it get with the appropriate people and work it out. It just never seems to work though. I guess one must just try and try.
