Thanks for all your info! CNC Apps Guy how do your positive tool offsets work I've tried to program Z zero at the bottom and can't figure out how you get your tool lengths on the setup sheet besides manual wighting them all out! Is there a way with WCS to manipulate the set up sheet?

Where do you all zero your trodes from top or bottom? If you do zero from bottom how does the set up sheet work for tool lengths. We currently set zero up from the top of the trode and the set up sheet tells us the proper tool lengths. Dose anybody have pros and cons of ether way?

Thank you this is awesome and fast! I was wondering if there is a way to get it to only show one tool which would be the deepest (expl. tool3 z-.500 and in another path the same tool goes down z-1.000 so the set up sheet only shows the z-1.000) Thanks again!

What am I doing wrong? for my holder definition library's I made several holders and even used the pre made master cam holders I can pick them and they all work but the name example (b4c4-0032)after you pick it and regen it comes up as Unnamed Holder Is anybody having this problem and what can I do about it! Thanks for your time.

Dose any body Know of a good easy macro recorder that works with Master Cam Xmr2.I've tried Automate 6 but it flips Master Cam out something about an unknown error in Art you must save and restart or something to that effect and I'm not even using Art. I've tried Macro Express and had the best luck with that but after I got a few macros recorded it the stopped working and the Macro Express tech couldn't figure it out ether because I had 25 more day left on the trial version! Other than that It automatically selected and created boundary boxes and cued me for translating points brought up my tool paths so all I had to do is pick my geo and boundary's all with three key storks. Then the thing quit working! So if any of you have a recorder that good please share. Master cam recorder isn't reliable it over shoots and messes up frequently and dosen't cue you properly for points. One more thing dose anybody know how to make the boundary box automatically put points in the middle of all sides of the box not just in the middle of the entire box? Thank you for your help if you can.

Is there a way to get rid of this alarm you can not regenerate big files overnight if you are using HSM tool paths when using Holder for gouge check which I use alot! It stops at this alarm! and yes I check (do not show this warning again in this session) when it pops up usually after I leave for the night! VERY frustrating when you have huge programs that regenerate for hours!

Bruce the only way I can seam to get a tool path to verify when using WCS is to turn off TrueSoil in the Verify Options and when that happens (Compare to STL file check box grays out) I saved the STL file in the same WCS of all my operations in (Save as Options) I've saved it in both (World Coordinates) and in (Current WCS) as an STL . So I guess I still don't understand how you got it to work?

I was told the same thing by my MC Rep. With out offending anyone should someone start a post called "Why doesn't Master Cam do so and so and have everyone vote on it!" Example -Why can't I or I just don't know how-to compare STL useing WCS? -Why can't I or I just don't know how to-Keep the STL compare window numbers the same instead of changing them every time I use the STL comparison tool?
