Just started with MC last october. Started NC back when all we had was a Big Chief Tablet and a calculator. Over the years I've worked with Concept II, Smart Cam, Esprit, and now Master Cam. In my opinion, saved the best for last. Located in southeast Kansas, doing aircraft work. Love the forum!

Hello all Relative newbie here, been on V8, L2 Mill for about 6 mo. Mostly self taught(hunt and peck!) We are running three axis aircraft parts(yea I know, need L3). Just got V9 and added solids. I'm not sure what wcs is going to do to my work offsets(G54, G55, ect.). I just translate and rotate to show the parts in the various fixtures and set up "home positions" for each fixture. I'm kind of wondering about using wcs to "look" at the part from the different perspectives, but not sure how to make the G54's, ect. work to the different home locations for the respective fixtures. Sorry for the long post, but needed to explain the question. slj
