    Can someone give me advise how to mill a cavity like half of a bowl. 8.00 dia and 4.00" deep. Material: 4140- kind of hard stuff. I don't have much experience in profiling. using MasterCamX. level-2. I was thinking to rough it out using 1" carbide insert endmill, then rough profile with 5/8 car, ballnose, and finish with 1/2' ballnose. Question: Do I use flowline for roughing and finishing ? how much material leave for finishing and the value of the stepover? Any other suggestionare appreciated. thanks.
