I allways get that "0-work offset number used in more than one view" warning when I post out more than one work shift offset...I just ignore it.
  2. I opened a file I started last week and added some more ops. Saved a few times. Merged a solid file in and moved it into place. Went to save the file and started getting solid kernel error messages. Reopened it...all my toolpath ops are gone but the tool groups are still there. All the backup files that were saved today are corrupt as well...but not the ones saved when I first created the file last week...
  3. Sometimes I have more than one Machine group in one file. One machine uses a fixed tool library and the other I like to number tools sequentially so I have different .DEFAULT files for each machine. If I start using the machine set to number tools sequentially, the next machine group I make using the machine with the fixed library shows number tools sequentially is checked even though the defaults are not set that way...the opposite happens when I start with the fixed library machine and add a new group with the other machine. Any way to get this to work properly?
  4. I am also noticing some setup sheet problems. The setup sheet file defaults to the mcx file name and not the nc file name for each tool group (I usually separate programs by tool group with unique nc file name for all opps in the group). It would be nice to get different setup sheets to come up when I have more than one tool group selected. When I do that I get one setup sheet with the tools from the other groups added to the end. Printing them one at a time is ok. I usually dont save them so I add a few notes, print them and close the editor and answer no...I dont want to save...but it saves it anyway. Is there a way to stop this so I don't have to keep going to my nc files folder and deleting them? Is there a way to get the setup sheet to default to the nc file name?
  5. I like the new feature as I allways name my nc files in each tool group so starting out with naming nc file works great for me. I'm finding if I name it different from my mcx file name all opps created after the first one have a different nc name (mcx file name) so I still have to rename them. Is there a setting for this I didn't see?
  6. Nice...I hope it gets worked out. There is nothing quite like openning a file programmed a few days ago when the machine is all ready to go and finding all my opps changed or gone...
  7. I've been having some problems with saved files too. I recently called up a file saved the day before and the opperations were all wrong. The nc file names and opps were from a different program I was working on that same day, but when i backplot the file it looks like the correct file I had programmed. I opened 10 backup files that were saved while I was working and they were all changed as well...so much for auto-backup. The only thing i've seen with this and other files I've lost is that I merged solid files in or altered an existing file.
