What is it about mastercam and igs files

My customer only uses iges files in his solidworks. Does solidworks save in those other formats? -
V9, I have to clean up the files or usually have redraw everything after I import them just to run my toolpaths; what am I doing wrong?! I create curves on all edges and surfaces, then delete any duplicates. there has to be a better way.

That was it, set it to 1 tooth; it was set at 4 and I guess that is a verticle arrangement of teeth, not the same as a standard cutter.

I am having an issue with thread milling; I am using a single point cutter and when I set it up and cut it, mastecam does not completely mill the circle; it does like half of it and then it will only do a couple of threads no matter the depth and top of part setting. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change. I tried this in V9 and X and they are the same.
