  1. ...wait a minute. For the heck of it I clicked "Set to Post Values" & "Set to Op Defualts." Nothing changed in that window but when I reposted, everything was OK.

Looks like X2 MR2 does not refresh/reload the new settings for the Misc Values window when changing posts (which I did earlier, from the default Mastercam post to my post).

    Thanks

  2. I also just started getting this. I've been using this post for over 2 years & it's never done this. Now, today, it started. No one changed the post because no one here knows how except me. Why is Mastercam changing things automatically?

  3. X2 MR2 crashes when clicking in the Operations Manager. I have a dual monitor set up. I usually have the text editor in the left monitor with X2 MR2 on the right monitor but the Op Manager is always on the right side of the left monitor wether docked or undocked. If you just click into it to activate it, it will crash at random times. The error report window pops up but that crashes when you click send. Useless.

  4. Regardles, xxxx's poor error handling. The application programmers need to fix this. It should not crash for whatever reason especially for writing to a file in another folder. Many, many apps can do this without crashing.

  5. We have a Trotec laser engraver X=26" x Y=17". It has an option for a rotary device (which we don't have). It's a CO² laser & doesn't put a mark on non-ferrous metals. On other metals it barely works. We use it for plastics of all types. It can be used with Autocad or Corel Draw type of software. Probably others too because once your file is made, you just literally PRINT to the laser & the print driver app opens to select other details. Check out the website. It's not that accurate. It loses .001" for every inch away from machine zero.

  6. OK, it worked when I got rid of the tilt axis on the rotary table. I did not get the error. This is when the Rotation Type is set to "3 Axis". Shouldn't it output the C axis when set to "Rotary Axis Positioning" ?

  7. looking thru the backplotting, the C axis always rotates in the same CCW direction. It never reverses direction. The X Axis is moving + & -, the Z axis never moves once it plunges into the part & the Y axis seems to be staying on the centerline. I can't really tell because the X Y Z positions don't really match what's going on; must be because the Rotary Axis is enabled.

  8. I have my datum Work Plane (Top) as the center of the rotary table (C axis). I select a curving chain which lies on a flat plane (2d). "Rotary Axis" is enabled with "Rotary Axis Positioning". When I use the Mastercam 4 axis VMC post, there is no rotary positioning, but the backplotting shows rotary motion. When I select "3 Axis" under Rotary Axis, it also shows on screen does post rotary positioning but I get an error which reads, "Error - More Than 1 Rotary Axis Detected In Selected Axis Combination - Output May Be Invalid". The C axis is set up as a Nutating axis rotating about the A axis but not needed for this job.
