  1. Pete, That's basically what I'm trying and it's working, just slowly. I was hoping there was some area-delete function to do this. I'm trying the break at intersection function also. Thanks for the help.
  2. I've tried this and I'm able to window all the splines. Then to select trimming curve I'm unable to select the whole rectangle. I can only select one side of it. The chain function in the ribbon bar is unavailable during this curve selection and only one curve can be selected.
  3. I have searched for this answer but was unable to find it. I have about 50 splines I created using offset contour from a surface edge curve. These splines run through a rectangle which is the outer boundary of my part. I'd like to trim off all the spline segments that are outside the rectangle without having to select each one and trim it. I thought there was a trim to area function. I'd like to window all splines and have it trim leaving the splines only on the inside of the rectangle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Thanks Ron. I have used the debug before on another issue. I will try that again. I was just confused on what command I should be looking for. I think it's prapid and where it goes. Appreciate the help.
  5. Millman, Believe me, I agree with you. I was just willing to give it shot. More for the learning process than anything. I can always save a copy and go back to the way they had it in the event I really mess it up.
  6. Murlin, I have my current settings just as you said with no success. I have actually run this exact program before but with a different post and it worked fine. My post was updated by my reseller after finding some issues with 5ax toolpaths and I'm just now doing some 3ax work again and found this problem.
  7. It's a simple 3ax pocket toolpath but I've noticed it not rapiding to reposition on any of the 3ax toolpaths.
  8. I am new to post editing and need some help with a repositioning issue. After each pass the tool retracts but then feeds to position for the next pass. I would like for this to be a rapid move. I have been reading the post modification info out there but am a little overwhelmed. Where would I change this and what would be the proper entry. Thanks
  9. I have opened Solidedge parts in Solidworks and resaved them as *.sldprt files and been able to reopen them in X without any trouble. If you'd like to e-mail me the file I'll give it a shot.
  10. Thanks everybody. With your help, actually found an issue in the post which was corrected. I appreciate all the input. Thanks
  11. Does anyone know what a proper machine definition for a DMG 80 would look like in X2. C axis rotation is along Z axis and is on the table. X,Y and B axis are on the head. I have what I thought was correct but upon exiting the machine defs page a message of no valid axis combination appears.
