Yes I have version 8.11 and all my SW customers have upgraded and now I can't use their parasolid drawings, this sucks because they are so much smaller and import so nice. If there is any way to get them to export or some kinda jery rig that works I too would be interested, and don't say upgrade to V9 mastercam, I know that will work
I use it on 2 systems, my home computer is XP and it works good so far, but my work horse system is 98 second edition and mastercam always awsome 99 percent of the time. Solid modeling will tax my system a bit but it is a PII 266 with 300sdram and a 4 gig hard drive so some unexpectid shut downs do occur
Hi I've been using Mastercam for a bit now and I have version 7.2b. I've only recently started to send DNC through the Mastercam comunication program. I've been using a different comunicator up until now. What I need is some information on setting up the mastercam comunicator better. I can send programs under 32k in size to my Mill but if I have to use DNC Mastercam won't stop sending and wait when the Mill's brain is full (sorry about the slang). So I need to get some info on what to change or add. You can e-mail me or leave a message here and I'll provide the settings that I have now and try some new ones but I'm stuck for ideas at the moment.
Thanks in advance
Brendon
I downloaded the moldsplus demo and for somereason can't get it going. I don't have a version of moldsplus as of yet, is that the problem or have I got to set up the chook somehow?

I'll get the hang of this eventually here. Okay where I'm from and what I do. I'm in Calgary Albert and am a self taught user of Mastercam. I am in a constant battle with the forces at large here in the workplace between my system that I prefer(mastercam) and the bosses son's system (Artisan). I tipically end up fixing his stuff or just redoing it. Yahoo mastercam. I wouldn't mind takeing a proper course in Mastercam one of these days if I could just find out some info on training courses in Canada. Other then that lets see where the Year 2000 takes us
