just because i have the art tab on my ops manager does that mean i can use it. because none of the toolboxes work for it. they are grayed out. do i need to purchase a updated hasp to get it to work. i always just thought that it was included in x. I cant open any files for it.

for me high speed toolpath programming techniques worked but with non high speed toolpath feeds. i only had to make two so i really cant give any better info than that because i was constantly on the feed overrides.

is it a program from v9?

ram saver is the way to go. doesnt work all the time for me though.

hey saipem where is your service area? im considering buying a mazak and want to make sure its not the area im going to.

sometimes i compare the code to the backplot movement in these kinds of situtions.

do you do a daily backup? Also do you have mastercam set to do a backup file?

Ive never seen one that didn't have problems. in 1999 we had 3 and all 3 went thru spindles of either 2 - 3 a year. they said that we put in the wrong kind of lubes and maintains was bad. it was funny because they were the ones who did all of the service. i too am looking for a new horizontal and gave them another look just to make sure. but again i decided not to go with them.

depends on machine. also im assuming that you have HST option on that machine. I never used a ford endmill but the ones ive used you can max out the machine before you max out the endmill.

seems like almost the same amount of work to mirror than to do what hardmill states. but hardmaills way is safer.
