Thanks guys i got it. I ended up having to remove the translator then reload it. It works now.

I have found the info to unregister then re register the .dll file and it didn't work. It was for x5 but i have found nothing for x6. Thing is that one of my seats works fine no problem. The other not so.

I did the translator and still cant open files. I made sure it said finished before doing anything. I did a reboot too. I also did a search here and followed the recommendation for the same problem in x5 and no luck. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Is it possible to machine a impeller on a y axis live tool cnc lathe? What level of lathe would I need? I have mill level 3 lathe level 1. X5 i just want to make sure i can get it programmed before trying to learn how to. big thanks for any information.

can you start fress and do it every time?

the varimill are great to have for all around steel cutting conditions. They are having a sale on them right now too.

mastercam does fine with this lathe. We are still tweeking the post though.

can it go on a waterjet first to rough the finish on a mill or lathe? maybe a picture of what your part looks like?

well my shop is 10 min north of ft Lauderdale. The pool is very little. not very many here that i would really consider great machinist. a lot of people say they are but really are operators at best. not very many machinist jobs open here. Technology is behind the times in most places. When i have to hire it takes a while before i find someone that i can take and mold into something that can be good.
