  1. "I do not see Multi-Threading in the video. I Know it is in X4, i saw it at my reseller. Did i miss it? I would think that is a huge upgrade for mastercam and they would want it in thier promotional videos." Jrygus, Multi-Threading is definitely part of X4, it is defaulted to be enabled so perhaps that is why you did not see it in the vid. Works sweet for 5-axis toolpaths too.
  2. There is a bug with Mirroring toolpaths in X3, CNC Software is aware of this and are fixing it.
  3. For the record, I don't mean that sarcastically at all.
  4. I've had something strange happen a few times. I generate an engraving toolpath, and it tells me there's problems with the geometry. So I keep the toolpath, fix the problems and open the "Geometry" tab to re-chain. As soon as I click re-chain all Mastercam locks up and gives me an unknown error and shuts down. XP Pro SP2, X2 MR2 SP1.
  5. Adegilio, X2 was my introduction to Mastercam, and not very long ago either. I've had to go back in time to V9 to help customers still using it. While the look is different, it did not take long to figure out my way around. If I can go from X2 to 9, anyone can do the reverse. It's a matter of stepping out of the comfort zone into a new horizon. The best thing is to check it out yourself and make your own judgments. In my own opinion, X2 is awesome. The visuals of it are a plus right off the bat, looks nice and clean and up to date. V9 is so clunky. Anyway, not trying to preach to ya, you decide.
  6. Lol! At least I'm can find comfort in having two T's in my name, a step up from the floor!
  7. Anyone wonder why the hell there are so many Matts in the world? Especially in this industry.
