  1. Just installed MRU1. This benchmark is first thing I have tried on it: Dell Optiplex (Desktop)GX745 running Intel Core2, [email protected], and 2Gb RAM. Quadro FX540 with latest drivers (Dated 11-08, by the way). Time: 5 Min 25 Sec I'm happy with that for no tweaks. Have Mastercam start as HIGH priority using a simple .bat file.
  2. Can you directly open Solid Works 09 files after install of MU1? Thanks- still haven't pulled the trigger on X2 to X3.... figured on waiting til the SW09 thing came out. Greg
  3. FIRST thing I checked..... Stupid Xform STILL defaults to "COPY" instead of "MOVE"!!!!!!!!!! My number 1 pet peeve wasn't fixed???!!!!! C'mon, guys, let's HOLLER a little louder!! :-(
  4. Thanks.... building a fence surface seems to be the quickest work around. We'll see if it continues to be the best answer. Thanks again- Greg
  5. Yeah. You can untrim it, then extend it, then re-trim it. That's what I've been doing. Just thought there HAD to be a better way! (Like making the extend trimmed surface function work!)
  6. Yup, and it is "greyed out", not usable. (It appears that is only applicable when you are extending between 2 points, and not the entire edge. It changes which choice of between points it uses.)
  7. Greetings- I am using X2 MR1 SP1 I am extending a trimmed surface, but it is extending itself up on to the original surface. How do I reverse that, so it actually makes a surface that extends the original, and isn't an exact copy of part of the original one??? Thanks!
  8. I do use backup. All of the backup copies also open with the same error, and same problem.
  9. Hi- first post here.... hope I don't screw it up. I had a x2MR1 file with some toolpaths that I deleted, then addded a bunch of toolpaths, saving often (longtime WinDOZE user), and shut down MasterCam. Went to re-open the file, and it opens, gives me an error, with a BNCIERR.TXT file, and it has all the OLD toolpaths (that I deleted), and all the ones I added are gone! I can't find the .NCI file that matches the filename. Am I missing something here??? Thanks- Greg in West Michigan
