I am needing to see if there is an easy way to change out the hasp key. I need to change out our mill only hasp with the one that has the mill and lathe package on it.

I wished I lived out that way I would be knocking on your door for a job. All of our lathes are done buy converstional programming like our Integrex that we have. Mills only no MCX. Can do lathes and 3 and little 4 axis mill on MCX.

Ron and Tim, I want to thank you for your help on the matter with verisurf. I guess the fast food workers with 6 months experience in aerospace won out on keeping junk Camio. I no nothing after 15 years except to keep my mouth shut and not help out anymore.

We have two LKs and one Brown and Sharpe. Yea we program with camio studio but it is really limited on what you can do with it. If you have to do anything with the model you do it in Catia or Mastercam. If you miss something if have to start over.

Ron who sells a good post for a cmm machine? Right now we do not even use our faro arm that has verisurf. I want something that mastercam with it like verisurf.

Does verisurf only work on manual CMMs or can you do full blown programming with it?

Ron, All I have heard around here is that veriprobe is not the way to go. Our rep will not sell veriprobe but will sell verisurf which we just bought for the faro arm. Our CMM programmer just left to go make more money down the street. So I got moved out of programming into this for now. The Camio software is really limited.

Has anyone tried out Veriprobe or Camio Studio? Which one seems to work better? This is going on LK CMM

We have an Integrex 200IISY. It has a 40 tool changer with twin spindles. Not a bad machine but does not have alot of Y axis travel. We also program at the machine not on mastercam. I have been programming it for 4 years now. The Mazatrol control is not user friendly on that machine.
