  1. The key sentece: "The surface data was a file merge into the wireframe file so I can not understand how there can be any associative link." When you merge files together in Mastercam X, the merged data becomes part of a group. Press the groups button on the Status bar. You should see the entites that got brought in during the file merge as a group. Delete the group and they should no longer be grouped together. (this is also the reason that merged entites come in as a red color, if you want the entites origonal color, go to the groups manager and select the group, then use the colors button on the group manager dialog box to change the colors of the merged entites) Hope that is what is causing the problem and not something else.   3. Windows xp can do this on its own. Just change your screensaver to my pictures slideshow...you can also change the folder from there...In mcam use screen/next menu to clipboard to create bitmaps.
  4. Hello- It's called rast2vec and you can purchase it through your dealer. The 9.1 version has it on the cd, and you'll just need the codes.
