pretty srue its just a .doc. The set up sheet works, but i want it to appear for editing after creation like with the .nci and .nc files. Also I want to customize the output and not sure where to do that.

I'm using 8.1 taking the file from 8.1.1. I tried other mirror paths and have trouble with all on my system. Quite frankly i'm not sure what patches are. Fill me in if you can. Thanks

Is there a better way to extract Solid Work files in 8.1? right now we convert SW to IGES and then to MC8. Does paradolid work directly?

i use stl files to verify on differnt tool planes, not sure on WCS I"m on v8. I only get that alarm if i try to use the turbo. wireframe tool will work but it's slow. don't know if that helps you

I am pulling in files from solid works ( wich were already converted to IGES because i am using v8.1),wich includes a surface model and a SW generated wireframe. I was attempting to do some simplistic 2D wire toolpaths and it just wouldn't take.The toolpath that was generated sort of looked like the system was inverting the across contour as it went over the along. I had to recreate the geo. in mastercam to do it. all geo was either arcs or lines, no splines. Is there a better way to convert from SW to MC? Thanks in advance

I have some images i want to import into mastercam which are "ai" files. I never heard of it. anyone know what to do with them?

I am into prototype molding. I need to make subtle changes to new revisions. I want to import most, if not all tool paths from one rev to another and use a different solid model just so show the part. job set-up imports tools, nci import can not be manipulated, i want to import toolpath parameters and geometry for each and be able to modify everything. can i ?

I was told there is a c-hook for converting bitmap, jpg, etc files into vectorial files for mastercam. What is the hook called a nd can i obtain it online if i don't have it? thanks

hello. I have had 2 instances where i identify a tool plane and use it on a tool path and te next time i use the drawing the plane is configured to a different # than i saved it as. Any explinations??
