  1. I am a longtime Mastercam 9 user and I have recently moved to X2-MR2.. I find the ability to save the result of my verify from operation 1 as an STL very interesting, once I realized this was possible I immeadiately thought of how nice it would be to be able to use this STL as stock in subsequent operations. Heres the question then.. basically my part profile is cut to finish from a solid rectangular blank in OP1 then in OP2 I remove the excess stock which was used to hold the part in OP1 and add some more features to what was the bottom of the part in OP1 So anyways.. I can save my stock from op 1 to use for op2 but the stock needs to be flipped over for op2 - this seems like something that should be possible however I cant seem to figure out how to do it, if I open the STL and modify it, I cannot re-save it since it is not surfaced and re-surfacing the entire stl file would be a lengthy process. Is there some way to modify part orientation of an STL file for use in later operations that im missing - any relevant information on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
