  1. I searched the directory for "Acramatic 850SX" The search did not find anything.
  2. The company I work for has acquired a 1992 Cincinnati Saber 1000 with an Acramatic 850 SX control. The machine was free, We just had to pay to have it moved. After a few minor repairs, the machine is working. The next step is to get a post that works. Our mastercam dealer does not have a turn key post. We are starting with MPMASTER_CINC850SX. The manuals that came with the machine do not give examples of what the code should look like. Can any post a sample of code for Acramatic 850SX Thanks P.S. Does any one know how to contact Cincinnati?
  3. Thank you Ernie Note pad will be useful for documenting program changes and revisions.
  4. I found a way around the problem. Only the first three columns have this problem. I move the info to column "D" and "F". Thank you. Todd
  5. I am using the X+ setup sheet in excel. I have edited the .XLT template file, but I can't get the columns set at the width I need. I save the template file with the corect width. When the setup sheet is created the column width changes back to what it was before. What controles the width of the columns? How can I fix this? Thanks,
  6. I need a software package the shop floor personel can use to load NC files to the machines. For ISO 9001 reasons the software must controle the security of the files. I also need to be able to create links to other files in multiple locations on the server, drawings, setup sheets, and photos. I am looking at Jobpack Technical Data Pack. Has anyone used this software? How well does it work? Thank you for your help.
  7. Sorry I don't know how to write the chook. I wish I did know how.
  8. I think the Viewsheet function has great potential for use as an electronic setup sheet. A "setup utility" need to be added to Mastercam. This utility would give the programmer the option to lock more imformation to the tabs at the bottom of the screen. visible levels Selected operations The solid stock or STL stock in verify Some sort of text box for writen instructions A tab for the toollist plus other stuff.... A custom tab would be created for each of the multiple setups required to make the part. The shop floor personel would open the original mastercam file with a READ ONLY VEIWER (something similar to the demo software) By clicking on the tabs, the machinist could run the "Back plot" and "verify" on a computer at their machine. I spend a lot of time extracting information out of MC to create setup sheets printed on paper. Why not leave the information in MC? Create a way the information can be organized an viewed. I would like to know what you think?
