because i programmed M10 (air blast on)
on the same line as the toolchange , the tool ignored to do a toolchange used next tools offsets
with the same tool and continued cutting with incorrect tool.
G4T7M06M10 - M10 ADDED TO LINE ( AIR BLAST ON ).
i am using a toolpaths rough chain
stock recognition is blank in rough toolpath parameter page , stock has been defined in job setup and shows up on screen.
though if i chain the outer boundary after selecting toolpath chain all works well.
yes i am plunging into fresh air
i know that it is leathal though i am just wondering if it can be changed , so that when i recalculate my speeds and feeds for a given matl,
it will show something different either faster or slower
MY TOOLS CURRENTLY WORK OF THE MATERIALS LIST, WHENEVER I CALCULATE MY SPEEDS AND FEEDS FOR A GIVEN MATL I GET MY PLUNGE RATE RUNNING SLOWER THAN MY FEED RATE, IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE PLUNGE RATE SO THAT WHEN I RECALCULATE MY SPEEDS AND FEEDS IT IS A MUCH HIGHER FEED RATE.
Increase you Clearance Plane to Be higher than the clamps
therefore whenever the tool moves to another position there will e No Problem with Clamps
Question:- In Mastercam V8 can you tell the program where and how high your clamps are?
IS there any way when i machine a contour from A. To B. i can Plunge at Both ends of the contour instead of retracting and moving back to *** . A.
The way i machine this is by translating my toolpath in Z- at several increments
and get the tool to follow this toolpath
Eg 3D Contour.
Is there a simpler way of getting the tool to do this?
