it worked fine for me in X2. not really sure what the deal is.

i analyzed a contour and want to print it out. every time i try it tells me that the number of copies must be a positive number. i have a 1 in there. then it crashes. anybody else have this issue? B Schultz

do i have to create that new level first or can i create it from that dialogue box?

how do i bring them in to level 2 lets say?

Hey guys, softball question for you. i want to import a drawing and merge it with my current drawing. i want to put it on another layer so i can toggle it on and off. i would also like to change the color of the merged entities. is there a tab i am missing? seems like there should be an easy way to accomplish this. thanks in advance

I am actually an applications guy for a MAZAK dist. Before I came here i was working on Integrex machines for about 6 years. Every size and control. I am kinda fumbling with Mastercam because I really do not get to use it enough. I will definately be looking for some help along the way. you are right, it would be hard to beat Mazatrol for what i would call prizmatic work where you are simply positioning, and working. But if you don't have all the numbers you need, it can get real ugly.

Risking public ridicule from the gods of g-code i am going to post anyway. Are there any guys on here who have come from a Mazatrol background, and jumped into Mastercam with both feet. I am just curious to know how easy it is to make the transition.

you have to look into your F parameters. F-91 is the one that comes to mind. there are 2 or 3 parameters that control cuttercomp information.
