  1. I've told Agie I thought it was a problem with the transition from the main guides to the secondary guides (they come into play after 2.1 degrees). Agie still hasn't gotten back with me to conferm this. I"m just trying to find out if I'm doing something wrong in MC. I can't have the wire at full angle before entering the part, I have to transition while in the part, it's designed that way.
  2. I tryed reposting the program with Sync: entity. The "joggle" is worse looking. The Agie guys still haven't replyed on the problem. Any more idea's???
  3. Del, the burn time for the part I showed you was 10 min. in 1/8" SS. There was already a start hole, so no nocore and the slot was a full width cut. As for seeing 30um wire, it looks like spider web, you have to hold your mouth just right. And yes, it does auto thread.
  4. I just tryed re-syncing by entity and it backploted fine. I'll try and burn one tomorrow. Time for me to checkout. Thanks del.
  5. That's right, the "joggle" is between the 0 and 8 degree positions. Just seeing if anyone else has had a similar problem.
  6. Del, check your email. Using X2 MR2. JJ
  7. What I'm calling a Joggle is an In & Out mark on the profile, that is not programmed. I'm using Direct 4 Axis, Sync: branch. I'll send a pic, if I can figure out how. JJ
  8. I've done several tests and already have the Agie techs in the loop. The machine is a Agie Excellence 2F. My problem is that I need to burn a taper in a part that starts at 0 degrees and burns to a max of 8 degrees while in the part. When the heads transition from the main wire guides to the toriods, there is a joggle on the profile. The transition is not smooth. Somewhere around the 3 degree mark there is the joggle. I've done all the alignments per Agie. And we have ruled out any MC errors. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks for any input. JJ
