  1. In the rest roughing toolpath, try selecting the "Adjust remaining stock to ignore small cusps" selection on the "Rest Material" page and play with the Adjustment distance. Maybe .050"
  2. I get the exact same thing. Has anyone discovered a work around?
  3. Hello all, thanks for the replys. Colin, I'll try the Surface Finish Contour path like you suggested. Thanks again
  4. Hello, Is there a way to create a specific start point for a Parallel surface - finish toolpath? I know there is a check box for use approximate start point, but I was hoping to be able to have the toolpath start at the highest point on the convex surface because there is some material left over around the edges of the part and the tool (ball EM) will plunge into if it starts on the edge of the surface.
  5. It brings up the "select tab to edit...." popup when you enter the function. While that popup is up, you can't use the ribbon bar. Press the enter key to get the popup to go away then you can use the tools on the ribbon bar. cheers
  6. On Heian routers, M12 is spindle up and M22 is spindle down. You may be using the wrong post for your machine. Change M12 to G0 Z1. and M22 to G01 Z-1. F50. You can change the F50. to whatever feedrate you're comfortable with.
