Good to hear...I have a SIM in my desk drawer for awhile and have never tried to get it going.....

All files, that is why I am thinking it is a setting but don't know how it would of changed.

For some reason whenever I go to bounding box now I have a delay while it is opening, and then a longer delay after you pick the object and wait for it to create the box. I have no clue what could be causing this. Thanks for any insight. BTW this is with Mill X5 MU1...6 is in the box but we need to move 6 people at once when we move - to busy right now.

We are getting a MasterGage for the shop and looking for some feedback from ACTUAL users. There are some people that bag on Romer brand but beings it is a shorter arm I see where it can hold the accuracy that they claim. Any help??? Thanks!!!

I belive our TopSolid guy (out of house) has the trode option, I am just trying to find out if we need to light more of a fire under him to get more trodes!!

We were talking about this and was wondering if MasterCam can/does this and/if anyone use's it. Right now we TopSolid for this but it can be a pain on complicated details so its back to the manual way...

Guys, thanks for all the help but it's still not working. I'm going to put it to bed for awhile and stick to the things that work. It's amazing how pissed one little thing can get you!!!I need to smell the flowers for a awile!! Thanks once again.

Just relized I don't have SP1 loaded...does that make a difference? Going to do it now.

I have it all set the same way as you say but it still won't work. I tried it as a rest mill with the same size tool- won't work there. Then I redid it with a smaller tool and 0 stock allowance, it would go to the part but is would not cut and would go right back up. I can get it to ruff but cannot get the scallop to cut!!! Thank god I am drinking beer after work!!

I am having the same problems with the SHS (scallop rest pass) and just plain trying to have it run a high speed scallop pass. Tried everything that I know of so far and the help listed above, but it's (more me) not click'n. Any other help would be great, I will probrobly go back to using a plain scallop toolpath with check surfaces to keep the holder away from the tower I am machining around.
