    Try adjusting your baud rate. I've had this same alarm on a vf3 while drip feeding, but I can't remember wether I went up or down on it. Seemed to work though.

    Maybe you have a short somewhere. Possibly between the operator and the machine?

    Try settings>>Configuration>>Colors>>Customize This will allow you to pick any color and shade of that color you want.
