  1. quote: I would love to have a Spongebob too. Thanks, KGN Here’s a download link for the .STP version: Spongebob.stp Here’s a download link for the .IPT version: Spongebob.ipt Let me know if there are any problems. Enjoy.
  2. All right peoples. This is becoming a full-time job emailing spongebob solids to everyone! So, to simplify things for myself, I uploaded them to MediaFire. Here’s the link for the .STP version: Spongebob.stp Here’s the link for the .IPT version: Spongebob.ipt Let me know if there are any problems. Enjoy. BTW, Daniel M: I didn’t mean to hijack your thread – sorry about that!
  3. Sorry Turk, AFIT.edu blocked the file. Too suspicious looking of a character?
  4. RE Spongebob: He is an Inventor 2009 model. I'll email anyone who wants him a STEP file (tried parasolid and it wouldn't convert). The .STP won't retain the color though. He came through as all gold when I opened him in MCX3-MU1. If anyone has Inventor 2009 and wants the .IPT file, just let me know.

  6. Same results for a 2008 version file. (For some reason Inventor does not actually allow you to save a file as an earlier version anyway. ) I am able to save the file as a parasolid (.x_ and MCX3 opens it with no problems. So at least I have a work-around for now.
  7. I tried re-registering the dll and got this message: "C:windowssystem32ntvdm64.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file cannot be registered." Oddly enough though, I re-installed the driver for the Alladin HASP and now I don't get the error message any more. I do still get the subsequent errors that arise when I try to load an Inventor 2009 file though.
  8. quote: I searched the Windows directories and all I found was ntvdm64.dll, one copy in the system32 folder and one in the sysWOW64 folder.

  10. Yeah, I have a seat of Inventor 2009 and it is the 64 bit version (It comes with Inventor View 2009). I downloaded the Inventor View 2009 (64 bit version too) file from the MCAM website; when I tried to install it it wouldn't install because the version of Inventor View I already have installed is a newer version.
  11. PLEASE HELP! I cannot open parts!! When attempting to open an Inventor 2009 part (.ipt) in MCX3, I get the following error within MC: "An unknown error has occurred. Please restart Art to return to last known stable setup. Then we recommend to save your work for back-up purposes." After clicking "Okay" I get this: "Error: save file is from a later version of Acis" I click "Okay" again and the part does not open at all. I am running MCX3 on a 64 bit system with XP x64. It is a fresh install of Windows and I've re-installed MCX3 twice now only to get the same error.
  12. Hello - first post! ; Tony35's partner in crime here... Unfortunately we thought reinstalling did the trick, but after a reboot the error pops up again. It is a 64 bit system with XP Pro x64 freshly installed. I search the Windows directories and all I found were ntvdm64.dll, one copy in the system32 folder and one in the sysWOW64 folder. The error message is this, verbatim: "This application failed to start because ntvdm.exe was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Then MCX3 starts as normal. Subsequent errors follow when trying to open an Inventor 2009 file and I'm thinking they may be a result of the ntvdm.exe file not being found. Tried reinstalling MCX3 twice now and have gotten the same results every time. HELP PLEASE!!
