Holderer come not with the surface finishing operations. Holderer are not included in the simulations, Worked in X7 Shaft problems !!! Holder options. Collisions checking, does not work unless the shaft is designed with holder. General negative towards new user interface. Spend lots of time to update and integrate new versions !!! Mastercam x7 tool manager. When choosing tools in tool selection, Is it possible to select the default setting for the filter and display mode. So whether it should stand for "tools or assemblies or Both"????????????? It will make me happy with a solution. Greetings Leif

We have looked at the other systems. Open mind. They have a really nice way to handle their tools.I have worked with MASTERCAM since v9 and is satisfied. But with our advanced milling of prototypes, 5 axis, it is important for us to demonstrate how the tools look and verify that the program works. It is also important that our other user of the tool library, do not get mixed holder and tools. What I'm after is a library which holds and tools are stored together. Is it possible in MASTERCAM x7 ??? When will x7 be released???

Hey. I need some help to the tool database. We are milling a lot of five axis and it is very importen the tool is defined with the holder. Can it be done, when I using the tooldb files? It would be fine the holder came automatically when I select a tool. Regards Leif.

occasionally there is an error in Mastercam and afterwards there will be a red shadow play, although I reboot Mastercam. Normally I tend to overwrite the config file with one from another installation. But I'd like to know what happens and what you can do. What it is in the config file you have to change?
