Our 6.13a runs off usb fine. as long as you have the right drivers and a HASP enable for it we havent had a problem.

I will have to use X32 but am trying to decide between XP Pro and Vista Ultimate. I prefer Vista but havent used mastercam in Vista much. Just enought to know it works...

No, We run All versions off of our USB hasps.We mainly use X3 MU1. We use V9.1 SP2 for Digitizing as in versions since you cannot see on screen what you are doing. And we only use V6.13 to access files created back before our switch over. So as long as those to function in Vista (doesnt have to be great) it could be worth it? I know the only real porblem I have seen is ruinninhg 6.13 on Vista X64 (it tweaks when you try to close it)

Still worth keeping XP Pro?

I just ordered the following

Intel Core I7 965 (3.2Ghz)

MSI x58 Platinum

6GB Corsair XMS3 PC3 12800

WD Velociraptor 300GB @ 10k RPM

and I will be using my ASUS 3870 X2

I was planning on using Vista Ultimate x32 as we stilluse some x16 software. Or would I be better off using XP Pro? We run X3 MU1, X2 MR2, V9.1 SP2, and V6.13

Thoughts Please??

This is really getting annoying!

ok, uninstalled X2 and X3 and reinstalled both. X2 still works great and X3 is still in and out. Its pretty much unuseable. haspx reads the sim just fine at all times. It seems to be something specific to X3 yet our other two machines run it fine..

Any ideas?

Hey, I am running X2 MR2 and we upgraded to X3. We have sims that we share between 3 PCs. One of the PCs keeps kicking me out of X3 and sometimes says SIM not found when trying to start. It does it with either sim but X2 works perfectly. The other 2 PCs work perfectly as well. I am running Windows XP SP3..

We are using usb hasps. We have two,I tried both and its a no go..

We have been using Mastercam X2 MR2 just fine but recently upgraded to X3. When using x3 it will randomly say the sim was disonnected when it wasnt. If you restart X3 after that sometimes it works and sometimes it says invald sim found. But it always randomly pops up saying sim unplugged when it clearly wasnt touched.

MasterCam X2 MR2 still works fine..

Any thoughts?
