the issue is that there is no specific thread type called out just that its r.h. helix - lead 7/8 pitch double thread. and its 38.375" long. any help would be appreciated.

Its starting to look better, but not exactly like the drawing. Is there any information on r.h helix threads? Is there a standard for them? I'm trying to use a parting tool to cut this.

I'm using mastercam lathe. is there a circle toolpath for that?

I have a part that I'm trying to do. It requires a double start 7/8 pitch helix r.h. helix thread. the part is about 39" long. The width of the thread is .210. Any ideas on how to program this in mastercam?

X3 is our first version of mastercam, so i don't think they exist in a previous library (if thats what you meant). I guess i'll have to modify existing tools then.

Hey guys. Not sure if this was asked in a previous post, but are there more tool libraries I can download for mastercam? I have some older valenite tools that aren't showing up in the x3 library.
