  1. If you have the tool capacity to do it a pallet system can run different jobs thru out the night "lights out" We have an OKK Horizontal with an 8 station pallet system, the pallet system has a program call function that calls the correct machine program for the pallet being called into the machine. The tool magazine capacity is 180 so we are able to spend day shift setting up jobs on different tombstones buying off inspection etc. Then load parts go home and the next morning she is still running. That being said, it still only machines one part one tool at a time a second spindle doubles that output.
  2. All of the above plus a motocross track out back to blow off steam
  3. Looks like some new alien life forms, good news is they can vote and collect government benefits, bad news is they will have to sign up for Obamacare.
  4. Mathew Hajicek is right I updated my wizard and all problems went away
  5. Elmer, The Corporation is PCC (precision cast parts) The Facility in Utah isn't new however PCC just purchased them a couple years ago. It is located in Spanish Fork and they use CATIA not Mastercam Cheers
  6. The Corporation I work for is closing this facility and moving the equipment to another facility in Utah. They are paying me a HUGE bonus to stay until the transition is complete and also offering me a very nice position and the new facility. However I have been debating whether or not I want to continue working for a huge corporation in which the "Big Wigs" don't even really know who I am or what I do. hmmm
  7. Just found out what my issue was!! Somehow with in the 4 days we had off, my tool libraries were deleted, this was the first time since updating to MU1 that I worked in the lathe side of MC so I made a bad assumption.
  8. After installing the X3 MU1 update I have run into an issue that I have not seen anyone else report in the forums. When creating a new tool in the lathe toolpath parameters, once I have selected the tool type, then go on to the insert tab, or the holder tab. When I click the "select catalog" button, MC brings up the "save as/ save in" dialog box instead of the "look in" dialog box. This makes it very interesting to try using the existing tool libraries we have at our disposal. Question is: are my files corrupt, or have others experienced this dilemma? Hoping everyone had a wonderful Christmas
