Happy New Year everyone. Im trying to threadmill but the code spits out as small linear moves and the thread seems to be faceted and not smooth. Is there a way to smooth out the thead and perhaps shorten the code as well. Thanks
you know when you're milling and you change to a different WCS and all the tools and everything switch relative to this new WCS...when I try to do the same on the lathe it seems I create a new WCS but the tools don't seem to change relative to the new WCS. Is there something I'm missing in order to achieve this? Thanks in advance
Hi..Im running MasterCam 6 and when I open an operation the software flickers to windows desktop briefly and then the pop up window for selecting
geometry appears just on the edge of the screen but is not accessible. Any thoughts?
I see the stock like that too but when I choose a roughing cycle to bore out the ID then inside the cycle the option for stock recognition is greyed out.
I've created a piece of stock with the center hollowed out (like a tube). When I try to rough bore the inside Dia. the option box for stock recognition box is greyed out. Simulation shows a crash. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
No, I was working on a couple of different things and spent about 3 hours programming one of the parts. I left the computer to deal with something . In my haste I'm not sure what happened but my 3 hours of programming seems to be gone as it is saved as the other thing I was working on. Oh well live and learn.
I have my part in isometric view, when I try to open an operation to adjust cutting depth or any other variable the view keeps going back to top view. I am working on a piece with a multitude of holes all at different depths and wanted to pick the drilling depths from my model and it is very confusing when the view keeps switching. Is there a way for this not to happen. Thanks
