  1. also what makes it interesting to me is, today I have been working with the same file that I had these errors with and today I've had no problems and been working with it all day... go figure?
  2. Okay my video info: Video BIOS version: 5.41.02.34.11 Bus PCI Exspress x16 Mem 16mb ForceWare version 84.26
  3. What kind of setup you running ?? If asking about PC: XP Pro Dell WS Pw370 P4 3.40ghz & 3.39 ghz 2.00 gb ram Quadro FX 1400 w/ daul monitors set to horizonal span. yes I have read/write priv's I have Admin Priv's
  4. I wanted to ask if anyone has ran across this problem? 90% of the time when I goto creat a dimension off of geometry. I'm able to pick one point and when I goto pick the other point.could be the first Dim or the last one i creat(differ every time) MCX crashes and gives me this error: (the instruction at "0x03300bd0" referenced memory at "0x0330bd0". The memory could not be "read" Click ok to terminate the program) I will get the same error everytime with that file. with another file I got : (the instruction at "0x6980f965" referenced memory at "0x0000002a". The memory could not be "read" Click ok to terminate the program) but this file I had it crash at differ points Like goto save, trans form, click on a tool operation, etc. would crash at differ operations/features,just about at any point(very bad day that day). Even if I reboot the pc. I will get the same problems. Now I thought that I had a memory issue so I ran Microsofts mem test software and found nothing wrong. And now our other guy has ran into the same error as the last one I got. The same numbers too. MCX MR2 Mill Level3 XP Pro
  5. I wanted to know if there was a fix out yet. Right now I’m running MasterCam X SP1 update 3. When I go to save a MCX file as DWG with the Dim tol. Set with +/- on. When you bring the file back in MasterCam it shows as: 2.00 +.0002/-.005. Instead of the range above and below each other. Plus you can not change the settings after opening the DWG file?
  6. On version 9. What you should do is shut down mastercam. And restart, that works most of the time. I was told before, that version 9 didn't keep the ram very well cleaned out, so if your running mastercam for a long time, close it every now and then.
  7. What type of video card do you have? if you have a Nvidia Quadro FX graphics card, go here for help: http://www.mastercam.com/Support/TechTips/...depthbuffer.htm
  8. dontrust, You got it print from print preview. I do remeber reading about it in here somewhere and that was the fix for now. Your not the only one out there. MCX Mill3 SP1.3 w/solids

  11. Hello everyone, been reading alot of topics and have learned a few things here.. Thanks. With that note, I'm having step issues between MCX(latest patches) and Pro(the lates ref and back one). Most of the files I get, I need to recreate faces(cuz their missing or self intersecting, even rebuild half the model, and sometimes come in as sheet bodies. At times can't even bring in the files. I know with the latest rev of pro, they can export out as a parasolid but not all of our guys have the lates rev. Does anyone have any recommendations, suggestions I have tried some setting in MCX but doesn't resolve all problems. I'm trying to reduce our time we spend on rebuilding database we get. Thanks in advance..
