As a work around IF you are not using tip comp turn it on then set the break through amount to - what is in the tip length field. for example if you have a .125 drill with a 118 degree point it will have 0.037554 in
the tip length so you would set the break through amount to -0.037554. Your program will post exactly the same but the machine sim will work.
litnin,
I have seen this issue and sent it to QC. They told me that it is a 3rd party component and they are waiting for them to fix it.
As a work around if you are not using tip comp I turn it on then set the breakthrough amount to - the tip length.
There are 2 places i would check:
1) In your machine def under General Machine Parameters
check the tab for Tool/material libraries and make sure
that it is looking for a .tools-6 file
2) In your config file: look at the files section
and under File usage look at the Mill Tool Library
and same thing make sure it is looking for the .Tools-6
