On the lathe I would like to know if you guys knew an easy way to make your tools approach and retract to Z.1 consistantly everytime with out having to mess around with the approach distance, lead in lead out, ref point or manually edit.

I am running into the same problem. We have a okuma OSP7000L. We use a M32, M73 threading cycle but the post is giving me a M32, M75 cycle. How do i get it to give me the cycle I need. Thanks
We have a machine at our shop that reads I's and K's and will only read them in absolute coordinate values. Mastercam wants to post them as incremental values. How do i fix this problem? Thanks

thats ok. So I am having trouble trying to save my part done in lathe as an stl to be used in verify in mill. Do you have a set of procedures I can follow. Your help is much appreciated thanks
I tried looking at the ftp file. It is saying invalid or corrupt file. contact the master cam dealer. is this because you have it as a x4 file and I have the x2 version.
My copmany doesnt have the 3d upgrade for mastercam they only have 2d. I am trying to mill multiple parts that have already been done on the lathe. How would I create multiple stock pieces so that mastercam will recogize the placement of my stock? Thanks
