  1. Thanks, but I was wondering why clear screen colors would not work. It did work in 9sp1
  2. I am running mill level 3 version9.1 When I use Create-Pattern the geometry I bring in stays the group color (all red). When I hit clear colors nothing happens. If I delete the geometry then hit undo the colors come back. Does any one have a solution to this? Thanks in advance
  3. No I don't know VBS and I don't use macros all that much. Thanks for the advice.
  4. REKD, I have over 9000 entities that need to be squashed to one plane. But I still need all of the entities. They are on six different levels. I ended up doing each level by its self. I guess I am looking for that "Faster better Better way" Thanks
  5. Hi all Is there any way to NOT delete duplicate entities is XFORM/SQUASH?
  6. Pet Peeve Me: Why is this tool running so slow? Operator: Well........ I.....I didn't know what it was going to do. Me: ONE BIG SLAP RIGHT AGAINST THE HEAD!!
  7. I would have to agree. I think that the G12 and G13 codes are machine (Haas) specific macros.
  8. Hi all, We have 3 Haas VF7s. We never use G28. At the end of our programs we send the machine home by using a G53Z0 G53X0Y0 I didn't have much luck with the G28 either.
  9. Thanks James I'll give it a try.
  10. I have a little project to do. I am looking for a good starting post for a Cincinnati Milicron Sabre 2000 with a 850 Acromatic controller. I only have a little experience at editing a post. Does any one know of a good starter post that will run on this controller with minimal problems? I am not asking for a post!!!! so please go lightly on me. I just didn't know if the mpmaster was a good starter post or if there was another that I should start with? Thanks
  11. I am having a problem with long generation times. We do complex 3D machining. (approximatley 1,500 sufaces.) We use Mastercam Mill Version 9.0SP1 I have a Dell Precision 530 with an intel xeon 1.7 GHz processor, 1 GHz RAM. I have Matrox G450 AGP graphics card I just upgraded to 1 GHz of RAM from 512 My Question is What do I need to Set my allocations at in my config. file? Is there any thing else I can do to speed up my generation times? (more ram? bigger processor? better graphic card?) Any suggestions? Thanks
  12. We have a 50 taper mazak and or old software was camax. Are you looking for a camax post?
  13. Hey nice C-hook! Are you planning on adding circle paths to the op. manager? Thanks for the C-hook!
  14. In the past when I have needed to extend a trimmed suface I first create curves from the surface edges, then untrim the suface. You can then extend the untrimmed surface to the desired length that you want. I then project a curve back on to that suface at the height I want. You may also need to project the surface edge curves on to the same suface. I then trim the surface back to the curves I projected on to the untrimmed surface. Hope this helps [ 02-18-2003, 01:58 PM: Message edited by: Lucky 7 ]
