  4. This tool is a lollipop cutter and if you right click when selecting a tool for your cutter path, and create new tool it is in the options to create it.
  5. another option is also,in the op manager pick the toolpaths u want to have the program #changed and then right click on one of the descriptions "like 2d contour, you will get a list of things you can do ,one of them edit selected operations, pick this, then third choice down is change program #,i use this all the time and it works without messing with the posts.
  6. when i do this i save it as a stl in the verify, then when i go to next cutter path to verify i use this file in the verify.
  7. when you import file in the options box check the edge curve box.

  10. hi all, i am making a golf ball mold and am trying to use a .062 lollipop cutter to clean dimples at parting line as they are undercut.we dont have 4th or 5th axis capabilities, so i am trying to do this in flat set-up,to do tip set-up would be too costly as it might turn into a 10 cavity mold,i already tried surface finish contour as suggested and tried all the setting combinations,so i would appreciate all u guys input, thanks for u help in advance....:0)
  11. i was experimenting with lollipop cutters on surface model, can it only do what a straight shank mill does or is there a setting so it can go under a surface? is it only good for 2d then?.thanks for any help. steve
