if i understand correctly...
you wish to pull gcode in as geo?
if so, i've been using this little treasure for years.
NC2CDL --- Convert nc file to cadl file
works a charm

gcode > cadkey (*.cdl) and then, cadkey > mcam
this tiny command line utility has been so useful
to me, i can't even tell ya.
NC2CDL --- Convert Fanuc nc file to cadl file
*********************************************
NC2CDL ver 2.0 is a program for converting any Fanuc nc
file (3d only) to Cadl file format. After conversion, the cadl file
can be read by any Cad-Cam software which has cadl interface function.
An important point is that the cadl file will display nc data with green
and blue color segment by segment, so that you can see how long and how
many segments within the view. Finally, you can edit data easily seen
by alternate color display.

as gcode said, in advanced video/troubleshooting,
sliding the acceleration down one notch at a time till the issue goes away is your easiest "do it now" fix.
as an ati fan, i've had to live with this issue.
a couple of the mazaks i use are like that.
they just want to cut with tool #0 unless a tool # is staged.
maybe haas is similar syntax?
maybe not?
(for single tool program)
T2T2M6
or
T2M6T2
on mazak M32 control, both work for running single tool code.
If I understand the question correctly.
I've been using a command line utility for years that will convert gcode files to CADKey files.
Load up the *.cdl file in MCAM and poof, you have toolpath geometry.

HijackThis & CWShredder
(CWShredder will remove Coolwebsearch jacker and its varients)
MS can take IE with its ActiveX & BH extensions and..
well... I won't go there.
Mozilla is very good advice.
I prefer Opera Browser. (the browser from Sweden, Bork!Bork!Bork!)
Opera is robust, and fast. I'd recommend @ least having a look.

good luck in your gremlin cleaning venture.
Yes, I agree with James.
I had a similar video problem at work with
an ATI-8500, had to keep backing off on the OGL
performance until Mcam would boot thru.
Shouldnt be playing QuakeIII @ my lunch breaks anyway.
peace~
well, that sucks, about the disabled fd's.
maybe the company should by stock in a boot sole replacement business.
if yor small production runs are fixtured or jigged,
the programmer could string the code 20 times, separated with M0's.
i dunno, i think yer sol.
good luck man..
peace~
Heeler, your shops trak mills dont have a 1.44 floppy drive? ours will also dnc from the floppy.
surely your dnc files are not larger then 1.4mb?
dnc files for floppy feed can only be "number" names,
with the *.dnc extentsion.
<1234.dnc>
as you said, would sure beat walking back and forth to the drip feed station.
peace~
