  1. Ok I did what they said and unlocked the feeds and speeds and this still does not fix the problem. I still have to reset the speeds and feeds every time i start a new operation. Every thing else is fixed though thanks Keith and Kay!
  2. Under the operations manager when you open the tool settings there is a couple of settings that where always checked on X4 but now on X5 they aren't. Is there a way to save your settings in there. I want to have it always number tools sequentially and I would also loike it to always use Program #1 as a default. Right now the default program # is always 0. Also in X4 when I would do a contour toolpath and set my speeds and feeds the next time I picked a contour toolpath it would use the same speeds and feeds and tool I used last time. Now in X5 it picks any random other endmill in the current tool list and reverts the speeds and feeds back to default values. Is there a setting to change this also? Still new to getting this thing configured how I want. Thank you for any help. Its very apreciated!
  3. I always had the feedrates locked on X4 and it kept the same feeds and speeds that i had used on the previos opperation if i was using the same tool. Now it resets the speeds and feeds to whatever the default is whenever i start a new operation.
  4. Happens to me also. Plus it dosent hold my speeds and feeds either.
  5. Are you sure its not just your monitor? I replaced 5 out of the six monitors at one shop i was at. They were all around the same year Haas and the went out like 1 month after the other. Strangest thing i ever saw.
  6. Thanks guys that did the trick works fine now.
  7. Did they change the way import works in X5? I can't go into a old X5 file and steal the toolpaths anymore. In X4 you were able to use the drop down menu in the operations manager select import and then go into a old file and get certain toolpaths so i could reuse all the paremeters from it and just reselect the geometry. Sometimes i have parts that are similar to each other but im never sure exactly what has changed so this worked great as i could just steal everything from the old file and reselect geometry.
  8. Sorry I thought it was a standard c-hook not a addon. Just a little overwhelmed with trying to get X5 set up and still keeping the spindles running on the shop floor.I have got so used to haveing alot of these little tools I can't do without them.
  9. Is there still a arcmultiedit c-hook for x5 i didn't see it when I pulled up the c-hooks.
  10. Cool I learn something new about this software everyday. Didn't even realize that undelete was in there.
  11. Thanks Rob and MrWiz. Can't beleive i didn't remember alt-f9 that was the key. The other way Rob said worked too. Why is it sometimes the simple little things seem so hard to remember lol. Guess its cause i haven't really ever turned it off since i turned it on the first time...
  12. If you didnt save it at all before then i dont think there is any way to restore them. At least I have never figured out a way.
  13. Like in this picture you just see the little xyz arrows on the corner of the part zero. I had it in X4 just cant remember where it came from.
  14. Sorry Im not necesarrily talking about the grid part im looking more for the xyz arrows to allways be on the corner of my part zero instead of the big lines like is default.
  15. How do i get this in X5 i cant remember if it was a chook or what but i find it much less annoying then the standard 3 axis lines that are default..
