Are you using inverse time? If not, some rotaties feed in deg/min, some don't, but do a search for inverse time. There was one post
a while back that had a good link that explains it all.
ok ill look for that,thanks

having problem with feed rates when posting for 4th axis, is there something in post i have to edit, the feed rates are to high as of right now.
-
vbscript can't edit the existing entity (well perhaps if you jumped through enough hoops).
It would relatively easy to create duplicate entities, with the revised diameter, if that would help.
thanks for your help

If you have fillets instead of arcs, try using the fillet chain option,
create new fillets .0375, window select all chains,
then use mask only, misc, dia = .038 to select the fillets to delete
ok ,ill try that, thanks for your help
-
So they are not Dia like holes they are corner radii correct?
yeah they are radius, sorry about that
-
i ran the multi arc edit and it shrunk the radius like i wanted but didnt keep them trimmed to the other enitys, which would be time consuming to go and trim them all--is there another method?
-
ok ill give it a try, thanks
-
is there a wat to change multible dia all at once?
i have about 300 dia at .076 and i need to change them to .075
running mx 6

Did you change the name of the file!?
Did you edit the machine sim so the new file is linked up to the machine?
Did you setup the axis combination for the new configuration?
If these are things that your reseller can not help you with you could call tech support at CNC Software
this is what im getting, and i cant figure it out --lol

Did you put the STL file back in the same machine folder?
yes
-
The machine sim modules are solid assemblies that are then saved as individual STL files, to position your rotary correctly it would help if you have the table model open with the rotary. Position the rotary where you need it, then use file save some and save the rotary as an STL.
i did do that and it didnt place it right in the sim
-
i did that and imported my own 4th axis , but cant get the 4th axis to the right spot on the table in sim
-
can you give me a idea how to do that?
-
ok,thank you
-
we place our 4th axis indexer to the right of the table but mastercam machine sim is to the left.
is there any way of moving it?
-
i would use a vacuum plate
-
how do you get to the ftp site?
