Hello, I've imported a customers solid file into MCX mill. The origin of the part is not where I need it, and I am having trouble moving it and manipulating it so the cutting plane is in the Z plane. I have had the initial training for 3D milling, but it has been too long since training that I've forgotten some of the basics. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

We have a mitsubishi MD-PRO that we are using X5 on and I am having a problem getting the program to use a different start point other than X0.0,Y0.0. I want to EDM a slot that has a different start point. I select the box for creating my own start point but it is not doing it. It always wants to start at zero. Any ideas? I have a call in but haven't heard anything yet.

Mine was doing the same thing so I went into the post and found were that was and changed around the post then it worked fine. It took a while to find though.

We have a VTL and all I do is to take the left tool and make it T0101 and the tool on the right is T0102 or whatever other offset is available.
