Sounds like the Verisurf gnomen. If so, go to Verisurf (at the top of the screen)- Verisurf preferences - display settings - uncheck "enable WCS axes". -

OK, I just ran the benchmark and got 1 min. 48 sec. I guess I should quit my whining! -

Our IT guy didn't install all the sample stuff and I haven't had a chance yet. I wish I would have run the benchmark with the old system so I could see the difference. The more I use the new system I can tell it is much faster with standard settings, but when I change the verify settings to .001 tool tolerance, and set it to high quality and run verify-compare to STL, it is still slow. -
I just got my new desktop. Dell T5500 i7 dual quad core Windows 7 64 bit 12GB ram dual Quadro 4000 graphics cards. So far, I haven't noticed any increased speed. Are there any settings I need to address to get this running faster?
