I never had this problem untill X7, was it in X6?

Recieving two error messages when posting. The first one is "Invalid procedure call or argument C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\shared mcamx6\ common\editors\Mastercam\Memberlist\entities.mbr" Then the second is "An error has occured in OpenFile() The parameter is incorrect. #-2147024809 C:Documents And Settings\babard\my documents\my mcamx6\mill\nc\washer rack.nc" I deleted the config files and let mcam create new ones, which solved the problems, but still would like to find out what initially caused the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Running MCAMX6 MU3 on windows 7. Thanks, Chris

Thanks Crazy for the quick reply. I did try that, but the text section in the crontrol definition kept reverting back. Found a section in the post that was setting the text in the control definition and changed it there also, so now it works good. Thanks again. Chris

With the mill drill can cycles, is it possible to set mastercam X6 to allow for a dwell in the chipbreaker cycle?

Running X6 MU2 Mill L3, will update to MU3 soon. Folder is not write protected and is local.

Hello, We have a problem on a couple of the user’s computers. The mcamx configuration file reverts back to the default. I am suspecting their file is getting deleted somehow, so Mastercam is then creating a new one when they start Mastercam. Has anyone run into any similar situation? Thanks, Chris

I am use X5 and I wanted a custom tool library, so I copied a mastercamX5 Tools File. Maybe this is the wrong way to go about it, so I thought I would ask here. One thing I did notice, is that in the tools folder there is two types of files for the library's, a MastercamX5 Tools file and a TOODB File. What are these two files and are both needed for a library?
