  1. Is your length offset the same as your tool number in the tool parameter page?
  2. Thats to bad about the Haas spindles, I have had my Haas since november of 99 and have had not one problem with it. It runs about 16 hours a day between 12000 and 15000 rpm..Now are Bridgeport vmc's thats a whole different story.

Is it possible to save a solid as a BMP? and if so how?
  5. Excellent, that was just what I wanted. Thanks for all the input
  6. Does anybody know if its possible to keep a cut moving from the outside to the inside instead of it jumping from outside to inside. example: a 2 inch work piece with a half inch hole in the middle, when there is no hole, the toolpath will cut from the outside to the inside just fine but when there is a hole in the middle it jumps from the outside to the inside, is it possible to stop that from happening
  7. Of the 3 years we have had our HAAS VFO we had only 1 problem with it, the monitor blew out, I gave the HAAS factory outlet a call not 1 hour later 2 guys in a HAAS service van pull up replaced the monitor and were driving out 30 mins later. And I must say I dont recall a more accurate machine..I will always go with HAAS
  8. No need to be sorry Keith, glad I got an answer..take it easy all
  9. Just thought I would share this with you guys, this answer is from cnc software. John, This is just letting you know that Mastercam is catching to the hard drive to process your toolpath. Increasing your allocations or systems RAM will decrease the need for this but that is not necessary and is normal to see on more demanding toolpaths. Best regards
  10. No other software is running, and it does not look like a hard drive either. However when the box does show the current process does pause while the box is present...Thanks for the welcome and thanks for replying..
  11. Its Mastercam 9 im using win xp home, it does it during some toolpathing and or filtering when using scallop toolpath, it does not do it all the time though. I have 1 gig of ram 2.53 processor and a 128 meg graphics card
  12. What does it mean when you get a white box in the upper left corner of your screen? Is it telling me I am low on memory?
