How about
Being able to window an entire model say an electrode and pick scallop/.0002 height.
and then you are prompted which tools and which order you need to get in and ferret out ALL the material, also "Marking" the area's that cannot be cut,so you know where the trouble is coming from not Crashing or saying cant do it at the end of your boxes number crunching session.NO boundries,NO trying to cut from another direction etc. "Do It" means do it.

Hello,

The controller is a 3m

Thank You very much!!
Tony
Does anyone have a post for a Hurco "hawk"
or anything close
I can only find one from master cam Version 6.0 and it throws in all kinds of things that my controller errors out on.
What would I do with out this Forum?!?
(Probally learn how to start writing post's)!
Thanks Tony
I have a working postprosser for my anilam.
Also, you have to make sure that in the controller it has the question answered:
Read arc from center or from endpoint..
which answer I forgot. but my circles were coming out egg shaped until I switched answers.E mail me I'll send you my post
Tony
I have never lost anything (0kb)
I have been at it since version 6.
I think I figured it out.Bad geometry, I couldnt see it but when i picked the same line/curve it would crash. When analayzing
the Model With Solidworks. It comes up with a .007 interference warning!?!
Hello
I am running vs.8.1
I recently have lost two files when I went to save them. In that nano second before
I get prompted to save to etc.I get DRwatson error:Stackoverflow(0x00000fd),address0x005a4487
Whatever, The file is 0kb when I reboot.
I thought it was a fluke but after working on the same file around the 6th save it did it again.
it is a small file i am extending surfaces
so i can run the cutter past my needed burn depth. Some surfaces get weird and dont line up with each other by alot (usually i just toggle gap keep tool down) but here i was
extending,create curve edge,ruled surface.
Is there a better way like a cut extension?
I am cutting with surf parallel.
I just put in the latest surf/machapp patch 3/16 Why not maybe that will fix it!ha..
Thanks Tony
I'll try again and this time save to a floppy and pull it out after each sucsseful save!!!Stone age!
Saving to a floppy
Hello
How do I save my verified file, After I run a couple of tools through it to rough out
stock? I read the help file,it doesnt say
where or how .It does say as an STL. The only file save I can come up with is Mc8 and all files
Thank's.....again!
Tony
Thanks guy's
I have used turning the "Paper around"
or test cutting then using silly puddy
to check my work. I came up with Chicken scratcher because thats slang for sloppy hand writing or lettering in this case!
I am digging that screen/configure/CADsettings/globals! THanks again.
But Wait!
When I type "Chicken scratcher"
then mirror it or " #4 " it. The letter C is now at the far right! it cannot be though it must stay to the left but in reverse....
Hello,
Is there a C-hook for creating letter's in reverse?Do I have to write each letter by itself and then rotate it around it's own centerline? Is there something so simple to it ,that its right here in front of me?!!!
Thank's in advance
Tony
Version 8
I read all the old engrave post's....
Hello everyone
I am new here at the Forum
I have been dogging my reseller and Techsupport since vs5.I think coming here will get "Working result's"
I am wondering why my "Critical levels dont come out(Surface pocket rough).Sometimes about half do.Say i pick -.1088 and -.391
The -.391 comes out but the -.1088 cuts/verifies at -.080.
I have tried every angle with Adjustment to cut,.000,top,and bottom abs,Incr,No stock on drives,I believe that this function does not
Work correctly.
Any Idea's?
Thank's in advance !
